Sales at this Gadsden thrift store support Center of Hope, a Christian ministry whose work includes a recovery program, mission efforts such as a 2016 well project in Tanzania, and regular church services. The ministry's mission centers on showing kindness and opening its doors to people of every age, from those nearby to those far away. Large blue capital letters spell out the store's name across its wide white front.
Clothing donations help fund the ministry, and Center of Hope also puts clothes donation bins at local businesses that agree to host one. Money can also be given straight to the ministry. The store is open six days a week, including into the evening at least once a week, and is closed on Sundays.
