Triad Goodwill Store & Donation Center in Greensboro takes in donations and sells secondhand clothing, accessories and home goods. The proceeds pay for Triad Goodwill's job training and employment services. Sales also help the organization hire people and keep usable goods out of landfills. The store is open seven days a week, with evening hours.
Everything is sold as is, with no returns or refunds. The one exception is electronic appliances that don't work, which can be exchanged for store credit within 10 days if returned with the original price sticker and receipt. White block letters and the blue Goodwill logo stand out against the store's red brick front. Across all its stores, Triad Goodwill received more than 21 million pounds of donated goods last year and helped 3,778 people.
