This ministry thrift store in Foley, Alabama, raises money for Big Fish Ministries, the organization behind Christ-centered addiction recovery services for men and women. Purchases here help cover the ministry's operating expenses, which sustain Pathway to Purpose, a 12- to 18-month residential program of recovery classes, faith-based counseling, mentorship and life-skills training.
Big Fish Ministries has carried out this work for more than 10 years. An email signup brings thrift shop discounts along with news and event information. Bold blue "thrift shop" lettering runs beside a whale-tail logo across the white storefront sign, and furniture is set out along the front walk. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
