Goodwill's Sunrise store on University Drive takes in donations and sells secondhand goods at the same location, with doors open seven days a week and into the evening on at least one of them. The stock includes clothing, furniture, home decor and more, and every donated item that sells here stays out of a landfill. Red letters spelling out "Store & Donation Center" run along the front above a terracotta-orange metal awning.
Goodwill South Florida runs the store. Its donations and sales pay for vocational rehabilitation, job training and job placement services for people with disabilities and others who face barriers to work. The organization also sells donated goods online through its eBay store and through ShopGoodwill.
