Goodwill Outlet in Ocala carries merchandise that has already spent time on the shelves of Goodwill retail stores before being rotated out. Most purchases are weighed at the register and sold by the pound according to merchandise category, while furniture is sold at flat rates. Its doors are open seven days a week.
The store is run by Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves people across 10 counties in West Central Florida. Donations of used items are accepted here, as they are at every Goodwill store. Out front, a bright blue awning stretches beneath a sign that pairs the Goodwill name in blue with the word "Outlet" in lime green.
