Handcrafted and upcycled home goods, antique finds and furnishings fill the Creative Emporium, a retail shop at the Leesburg ReStore in Leesburg, Florida. Members of the Habitat Lake-Sumter Villages Club run the store, and every purchase goes directly to Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter's work creating affordable housing. The club opened the shop in October 2023 to raise money for its builds, which sponsor one new home each year.
To donate items or volunteer, people get in touch with Habitat Lake-Sumter. The store is open four days a week. Painted furniture, including a white chest of drawers, holds vases, decorative finials and patterned pillows against pale blue walls on the sales floor.
