Run by Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, a nonprofit serving West Central Florida, the Goodwill Thrift Store and Donation Center in Trinity carries a constantly changing stock of clothing, furniture, accessories and household goods, along with some new merchandise. Every purchase helps fund employment services and job training programs for people who face barriers to finding work.
Donations of used items are accepted at the store, and staff take them in where shoppers come and go. A teal-and-blue front sets the building apart, with a curved blue canopy sweeping over the glass entrance and the blue Goodwill sign mounted high above it. The doors are open seven days a week, and the store stays open into the evening on most days.
