The St. Sebastian Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society runs this Wabasso thrift shop. Its proceeds help fund the Society's food pantry and other charitable services for families who are struggling to buy food, pay utility bills or clothe their children. The shop carries clothing, furniture and a wide variety of housewares, and it is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday.
Individuals and organizations can donate clean clothes, small furniture in good condition and small household appliances. The shop is in a pale green clapboard building, and its tan entry door sits under a small white-trimmed overhang. Higher-end donated items that don't sell in the store are offered on the conference's eBay for Charity page, and the conference has served local families for 28 years.
