Since 2003, God's Share Program has supported Christian missionaries with free resources and funds, reaching more than 60 countries. The nonprofit runs North Avenue Thrift Store in Zephyrhills, Florida, to cover the organization's overhead and give the ministry a permanent building. Store proceeds also go toward mission projects such as feeding orphans in Tanzania and shipping Balikbayan boxes of supplies to the Philippines.
The store aims for low prices and high volume, so donated goods sell quickly and leave room for new donations. It also serves as a place where shoppers can learn about the ministry and get involved. Inside, a wall of photos from mission work hangs beside a door marked for ministry entry only. The store is open six days a week, closed Sundays and the second Saturday of each month, and posts weekly sales online.
