Every purchase at Samaritan Shop in Rogers, Arkansas, helps Samaritan Community Center feed hungry people in Northwest Arkansas. The nonprofit also runs a cafe, a market, a farm, SnackPacks, dental care and counseling. The shop sells clothing, shoes, books and furniture. It takes donation drop-offs during the same hours it is open for shopping, six days a week, and it is closed on Sundays.
The shop holds discount days every month. On the first Tuesday, clothes and shoes are marked down for people over 50, active military and veterans. Furniture is discounted on the first Wednesday. On the third Saturday, students and teachers with valid proof get deals on clothes, shoes and books. Clothing and shoes can be returned within three days for store credit or an exchange, and everything else is final sale. A red monogram logo sits above the entrance of the long white block building.
