Switch Society Clothing Swap runs on points instead of dollars. Members bring in clothes, shoes and accessories they no longer wear, even worn pieces, and each item gets points based on its value. Those points are then spent on other pieces from a collection that keeps changing as the community brings in more. The Billings shop is part of a circular wardrobe community that is expanding into new cities.
The store works on a membership model and serves women going through life changes such as a new job, retirement, postpartum or a change in body size. It also hosts family swaps and private swap parties. A white sign with the store's name in script hangs above its front windows. It's open six days a week, including Sundays, and stays open into the evening on at least one day.
