Luther's Attic is run by a nonprofit Christian group, and all proceeds from its sales and donations support three Christian schools in the area. New donations arrive every day. The store is open four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday, and it runs daily specials.
Much of the Moorpark shop is clothing for children and adults, from baby and toddler wear to sweaters, boots and jackets, plus a section of vintage and theatrical costumes for parties and plays. The shelves also hold collectible dolls, mugs, dish sets (some of them vintage), linens and table runners, sports equipment and fishing tackle. Antiques come through regularly. The storefront has dark green trim and a pair of glass double doors.
