Tyngsboro Church Thrift Shop sits across the parking lot from the Evangelical Congregational Church of Tyngsboro. Members and friends of the church run it and volunteer their time. Its stock covers clothing, linens, baby accessories, small household items and small appliances, and this church thrift store has served shoppers in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, with that same mix of everyday goods.
The shop gladly takes donations of those same kinds of items. It cannot take furniture, computers, televisions or large appliances. Sales happen only on Thursdays and Saturdays. A white picket fence runs alongside a wooden pavilion at the shop, where a bright yellow sign says donations are welcome. The church that runs the shop is an evangelical congregational church in the town.
