Construction materials, furniture and home decor, both new and used, fill this nonprofit home improvement store and donation center in Moscow, Idaho. Palouse Habitat for Humanity runs the ReStore, and every purchase and donation goes toward building and repairing homes for low-income families. Above its door, the ReStore logo sits beside a blue sign marking the building materials entrance, and a fieldstone base runs beneath the front windows.
Donations come in only during store hours, and the store is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The donation truck also works as a delivery truck, bringing large appliances and furniture to buyers. The crew drops items off but does not install appliances. First responders and military members get a regular discount, and the store also runs a loyalty program.
