Union Mission Ministries runs this Charleston thrift store, and its sales help pay for the organization's outreach ministries. Used furniture, clothing, computers and household goods fill two floors on the ministry's main campus, which also houses family services and addiction recovery programs. The store is open on weekdays and closed on weekends.
Donations are taken in person at the store during business hours, since Union Mission no longer picks up donations. Volunteers keep the thrift store sorted along with the ministry's warehouse. Beyond the shop, the organization runs a men's homeless shelter, feeding programs and a recovery program, all under its mission to "Restore. Rebuild. Renew. One person at a time." Union Mission has helped people in need across West Virginia since 1911.
