Every dollar of profit at Magpie Thrift, an independently owned thrift store in Seattle, goes to its partner nonprofit, Everly Seattle. Everly spends that money on circular care, creative reuse and resource sharing, including move-out services for queer seniors and redistributing goods locally.
Former staff of a longtime queer thrift store on Capitol Hill opened Magpie to carry that store's spirit forward, and the shop openly supports Seattle's LGBTQIA+ community. It sells gift cards, and a loyalty program is set to launch in August 2026. The doors open seven days a week and stay open into the evening. Donations are taken every day, and the dressing rooms, the downstairs area and the donation drop close fifteen minutes before the store does.
