A church-run thrift store in Fayetteville, North Carolina, 2nd Chance Thrift Shop is operated by Jehovah Jireh Christian Ministry, a congregation founded in the fall of 2002. The ministry's work centers on community outreach and offering refuge to people in need physically, emotionally and spiritually. The thrift shop shares its home with the church's Outreach Center.
That Outreach Center has a longstanding partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeastern North Carolina. The shop operates from a red brick building with a wide green sign spelling out its name in white letters. It is open six days a week and closed on Sundays, when the church holds its own worship services and Bible studies.
