Run by the nonprofit Andwell Health Partners, this Auburn hospice thrift shop puts its proceeds toward patient care in the community, and volunteers do nearly all of the work. Shelves and racks hold donated clothing and accessories, shoes and boots, books, housewares, jewelry, antiques and collectibles, paintings, pictures and frames, games, puzzles, craft supplies, area rugs, and small furniture such as bookcases, nightstands, dressers and chairs.
The store is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and takes donations Tuesday through Friday. It isn't taking children's clothing right now, and donors are asked not to leave items outside when the store is closed. The storefront has pale green clapboard siding and white columns under a sign that reads Androscoggin Hospice Thrift Store.
