All proceeds from FHS Thrift Store in Palm Coast go to the Flagler Humane Society, a nonprofit whose mission is to care for animals, run educational programs and advocate for animals. The store sells donated clothing, shoes, jewelry, collectibles, kitchen goods, tools, furniture, linens, music and working electronics, and some items are also sold through an eBay charity storefront. A white sign with the society's green and blue logo hangs above the arched entrance under a tan gabled roofline.
The doors open seven days a week, and the store stays open into the evening six days of the week. Donations can be dropped off during set hours, and pickups can be scheduled. Items must be clean and in working order. Mattresses, cribs, car seats, computers and hazardous materials are not accepted, and furniture is taken only when there is floor space for it.
