Since opening in December 2019, Community Cats of Palm Coast Thrift Store has given all of its proceeds to Community Cats of Palm Coast. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit is a foster-based, all-volunteer cat rescue. It rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes cats and kittens, and it humanely reduces stray populations through trap-neuter-return. The shop's wooden shelves hold drinking glasses, coffee mugs, framed prints and silk flower arrangements.
The store takes donations during part of its open hours on the days it is open, which is five days a week. It accepts clothing, shoes, jewelry, linens, kitchen items, dishes and glasses in complete sets, small appliances, home accessories, collectibles, tools, small furniture, and newer electronics such as recent laptops and flat-screen TVs. It cannot accept items that are stained, torn, chipped or missing parts, or large furniture, large appliances, tube TVs, printers or monitors. An online thrift store and gift cards are also offered.
