Every dollar spent at Molly Mutt IV in Palm Bay goes to the homeless animals of the Brevard Humane Society, a nonprofit no-kill shelter and sanctuary that has been working since 1952. Brevard Humane Society members get exclusive discounts at the shop. Out front, a white picket railing runs along the walk under a red metal roof.
Donations are checked in the same day whenever possible and often go on sale within 24 hours, so new items reach the floor daily. Donated goods must be in working order. Mattresses, televisions, cribs, car seats, pianos and construction materials are among the things the shop can't take. Donation pickups can be scheduled, and purchases can be delivered to a home or business. The shop is open seven days a week and takes donations every day.
