Lighthouse Ministries runs this Lakeland shop. Its proceeds help pay the resident interns in the ministry's residential Life Learning Program, who gain work experience by working in the store. It accepts and sells donated clothing, furniture and household items. The store is also home to a HOPE Center, where people in need can get prayer, free case management, referrals and material aid such as food, clothing, furniture and children's toys.
Lighthouse Ministries is a Christian organization. Its wider work includes the Gospel Rescue Mission for homeless men, an accredited preschool and homeless intervention services. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its tan front carries the ministry's lighthouse logo beside a separate Thrift Store sign, and dark metal awnings shade each entrance.
