A second-hand clothing store at heart, this Hooksett, New Hampshire shop also carries vintage goods, books, household items and electronics, and its stock changes constantly. Corey's Closet opened in 2017 and serves southern New Hampshire. Its mission is to create jobs for adults 21 and older with developmental disabilities. They are trained and employed in the store, where they learn job skills and build confidence and independence.
The store's motto, "Stuff = Jobs," links what it sells to that work, and the shop also promotes reuse. Donations are welcome at all times. Corey's Closet is open six days a week, Sundays included, with evening hours on at least one day. Its name runs in bold blue letters across a white storefront.
