Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday during set daytime hours, and pickup can be arranged for donations that can't be dropped off. Monday through Thursday, teachers, first responders, students, seniors and military personnel get a discount on their whole purchase when they show ID. The store is closed on Sundays and stays open into the evening on weekdays.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Milwaukee runs the shop. Proceeds support the nonprofit's work to end poverty and hunger in Milwaukee, which includes its meal program and its Neighbors Helping Neighbors home visits. A curved white banner reading "Thrift Store" sweeps across the brick front, below a round blue St. Vincent de Paul sign.
