Donations dropped off at the Draper Savers benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah, which the store pays for the goods it receives. Savers is a for-profit company, so shopping here does not support the nonprofit, but donating does. The donation center takes clothing and shoes, books and media, games and toys, housewares, electronics, small appliances, small furniture and sporting goods. People who drop off clothing and household items get a discount on their next purchase.
Racks of clothing for the whole family fill the sales floor, along with dinnerware, accessories and housewares. Every Tuesday is Senior Tuesday, with a discount for shoppers 55 and older. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening. Its large red Savers sign hangs between brick-red towers set on stone columns.
