A resale shop run by Assistance League Tulsa, Bargains Alot Thrift Shop puts its proceeds toward Operation School Bell and other charitable programs that help school children in need. New merchandise reaches the floor daily. The stock covers clothing for the whole family along with jewelry, accessories, shoes, linens, books and furniture.
Antiques, collectibles and home furnishings round out the mix. The store takes donations during business hours, and all donations are tax deductible. The Tulsa shop opens on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Its two-story beige building has the Bargains Thrift Shop name above the front windows and a deep blue awning over the entrance, next to a tall dark tower carrying the Assistance League emblem.
