Bougie Burke is a Covington, Kentucky thrift store whose name is spelled out in weathered metal letters across a sign mounted on a rustic wooden pallet, with cent symbols flanking the second word. A pink and cream woven wall hanging hangs beneath the sign beside the entrance. Inside, racks of clothing fill the sales floor. The doors open every day of the week, and on at least one day the store stays open into the evening.
