St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky runs this Covington thrift store, and its sales support the organization's 14 emergency assistance programs for neighbors in need across Northern Kentucky. Those programs include help with rent and utilities, food pantries, beds for children and seniors, fans and air conditioners in summer, winter coats and small loans that help people get out of high-interest debt.
The store sells donated clothing, shoes, dishes and other household goods. The organization also accepts furniture, medical equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers, and vehicles, and donors can schedule a pickup online. The doors open seven days a week, with evening hours on some days. The store fills a blue corrugated metal building with a large white St. Vincent de Paul sign beside its entrance.
