A Christian mission thrift store, The Mustard Seed Thrift on Mission exists to support survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Its sales fund Christian organizations that work on healing from and preventing that abuse. The store also connects survivors with counseling, education and support resources. Its partner ministries include SOAR (Survivors of Abuse Restored), PURE (Preventing Unhealthy Relationships for Everyone) and Olive Tree Resources.
The Floyds Knobs shop opened in March 2016. It is open six days a week, stays open into the evening and closes on Sundays. Donated goods are also sold online through the store's eBay storefront, and monetary gifts go toward its mission work. Bright yellow letters with the store's name stand above a black awning across the front.
