Hospice of the North Coast runs this Encinitas resale shop, and its sales help fund Pacifica House, the only inpatient hospice facility in North County San Diego. The money also pays for grief support, veteran care and integrative therapies. The stock changes often and covers men's and women's fashion, jewelry, shoes, children's clothing and toys, housewares, books and music. Volunteers help keep the shop running.
Donations of clothing, accessories, household goods, home décor and children's items come in through the rear entrance Monday through Saturday. They are tax-deductible, and receipts are available on request. The shop does not take mattresses, large furniture, electronics or medical equipment. A red tile roofline runs above the white-lettered shop sign, and the doors are open seven days a week.
