Donated clothing goes into a marked bin behind the store. The bin is checked daily, and the items are carried inside to a sorting area. This Winfield resale shop sells clothing and small household items and is open five days a week, closed Sundays and Mondays.
Alpha Family Resale is run by a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and its profits go toward helping individuals and families in need. Its mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ by meeting practical needs with dignity and compassion. Donors and volunteers keep the work going, and shoppers can sign up for text messages about store announcements and specials. The name is spelled out in large blue capital letters across the cream front of the building, and a blue bench sits between two potted plants under the front windows.
