Sales at Mission 27 Resale fund the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Indianapolis, specifically its food pantry and its Changing Lives Forever program, which helps neighbors fight hunger, become economically self-sufficient and break generational cycles of poverty. The Indianapolis resale shop carries furniture, household items and clothing, including one-of-a-kind and designer pieces, with new inventory arriving every week. Selected higher-end items are also sold through an eBay store.
Donated clothing, furniture, home goods and appliances can be dropped off at the SVdP Indy Distribution Center or at one of the organization's Blue Bins. The dark navy building is lined with red awnings and has a round red-and-white Mission 27 sign painted on its corner wall. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
