Mission 27 Resale sells furniture, household items and clothing, including one-of-a-kind and designer pieces, and new inventory arrives every week. The store is run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Indianapolis (SVdP Indy). Its sales fund the society's food pantry and its Changing Lives Forever program, which helps neighbors become economically self-sufficient. Some higher-end items also sell through an eBay store.
Donations of clothing, furniture, home goods and appliances go to the SVdP Indy Distribution Center or to one of its Blue Bins. Volunteers help run the store, which opens seven days a week. Red awnings line the dark gray metal building, and a tall white Mission 27 sign stands above the entrance.
