Each month, King's Treasures in Cincinnati gives a percentage of its proceeds to a different local nonprofit, so every purchase at this resale thrift shop supports groups working on community issues. The selection covers a wide range, including clothing and fashion, furniture and home decor, household goods, books, art, collectibles, electronics and sporting goods.
Local news outlets have covered the shop for keeping usable goods out of landfills while it raises money for area charities. Its white brick building carries a sign with a multicolored crown above the store's name and its "Shop with a Purpose" motto. The store is open five days a week and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
