New Life Furniture Thrift Store focuses on home furnishings, filling its Cincinnati sales floor with furniture alongside home decor, clothing, artwork, jewelry, children's items and seasonal goods. All sales proceeds support New Life Furniture Bank, Southwest Ohio's furniture bank, which provides furniture to neighbors living in extreme poverty in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Dayton. Donated household items support that same work.
New merchandise reaches the floor daily, and some pieces are also sold online through eBay. Every other Thursday, subscribers get an email preview of that week's arrivals before the weekend. The store is open seven days a week, with evening hours on weekdays, and volunteer groups help sort donations and prepare merchandise. Out front, the store's logo of a chair with a red heart sits beside tall blue lettering.
