Alamogordo is home to this King's Treasure store, a nonprofit thrift shop run under Southern New Mexico Outreach, which also has its home office in town. Sales help fund Pregnancy Resources Plus of Alamogordo. The store sells clothing, home decor, jewelry, furniture and kitchenware. More furniture and collectible items that aren't on the store shelves are kept in a warehouse. Gift cards are also available.
Donations go to a separate donation center, and the store will also come and pick up donated items. Larger purchases such as furniture and appliances can be delivered. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its low building sits under a wide, rust-orange flat canopy, with a band of green tile running along the base.
