Fresh merchandise is priced and put out every day at the Nearly New Shop in Sunnyvale, which is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The stock is a mix of new and secondhand goods: clothing and shoes for women, men and children, plus purses, jewelry, books and home decor. Donations are accepted during set hours on the days the store is open. Donors are asked to bring only items they would feel comfortable giving to a friend or neighbor.
The shop is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all of its profits go to scholarships for women working toward their goals. A teal awning with the store's name in white script runs across its front.
