Thrift shoppers in Kendallville, Indiana, can find Bargain Shoppe open three days each week, Thursday through Saturday, with its doors closed the rest of the time. The store's front windows hold shelves of books, framed pictures and small figurines arranged beneath a large banner reading "Proud American Christian" beside a fish symbol drawn around the American flag. Bargain Shoppe goes by that name alone, spelled with the old-fashioned "Shoppe."
