A resale and thrift shop in Warsaw, Indiana, The Beaman Home's Mary Ann's Place is a program of The Beaman Home, which supports survivors of domestic violence. Money from every sale of donated goods goes back into the organization's programs and services. The shop serves Beaman Home clients as well as the wider community. It took its current name in 2019 to honor one of the organization's founding members.
Shelves and racks hold clothing for adults and children, household goods, holiday decorations, jewelry, books, movies, toys, baby items and furniture. Donations are accepted Tuesday through Friday but not on Saturdays. The most needed items are clothing for men, women and children, bedding, kitchen accessories, home decor and furniture. Locals often call the shop MAP, and it is open five days a week.
