Every dollar from this Evansville nonprofit home improvement store and donation center goes toward building a local Habitat home, and Habitat for Humanity of Evansville runs it. The store sells new and secondhand furniture, appliances, home accessories and building materials to the public, and the stock in its showroom changes all the time.
Donations of goods and money are both accepted. For larger items, the store offers free pickup from any local home or business and hauls the items back itself. Specials and coupons run on a regular basis. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its long tan metal building has red trim along the roofline, with a big blue-and-green ReStore sign that reads "Shop, Donate, Volunteer."
