Run by Exodus Family Ministries, Exodus Lost and Found Thrift Store serves shoppers in Louisville, Kentucky, and its sales fund the nonprofit's food pantry and homeless outreach services. Donated goods support the same work, and the store itself is the only drop-off point where the ministry accepts them.
The shop launched with a grand opening that featured a ribbon cutting with local mayors, food trucks, music and a prize wheel for visitors who brought a canned good or a case of bottled water. Winners on the wheel took home merchandise, prizes or discounts. The store is open four days a week, from Wednesday through Saturday, and closed Sunday through Tuesday.
