Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Florence is a home improvement store and donation center run by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati, a nonprofit organization. Its profits support Habitat's mission to build and improve homes for local families. The store sells furniture, sofas, lighting, cabinetry, flooring, doors and windows, washers and dryers, building materials, new rugs and overstock home goods. It also carries custom cabinets with solid wood fronts, soft-close hardware and a choice of 14 finishes.
The store accepts donated items, and it also takes unwanted electronics and metal for recycling. Volunteers work with the staff to unload trucks, set out and price merchandise and help customers. A loyalty program gives shoppers points on purchases and access to exclusive promotions. The store is open five days a week, and a black-and-white Habitat ReStore sign hangs on its glass doors in a brick front.
