U Turn For Christ Thrift Store helps fund the men's ranch run by U Turn for Christ Tennessee, a residential Christian discipleship ministry in Greeneville that helps men overcome addiction through faith in Jesus Christ. The store also gives these men a Christ-centered, drug-free place to work and learn.
U Turn for Christ is a nonprofit ministry funded by charitable contributions. Donations to the store help pay for the ranch, where residents receive daily teaching and study of Scripture. Residents also serve the community by volunteering with various agencies. Wooden dressers, cabinets and tables line the walkway out front, beneath a flag-trimmed sign that reads "Prayer Changes Things." The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
