Greeneville is home to Recycled Heart Thrift, a Christian thrift store that funds itself entirely through its own sales. It carries new and pre-loved clothing, home goods, furniture, books, records, electronics, and vintage and antique pieces. Its stock comes from community donations, purchases from local charities and some consignment. Each month, part of the profits goes to local children's homes and to a veterans organization.
Donations of clean clothing, furniture, toys, housewares, working electronics, small appliances, collectibles and non-perishable food are welcome, and large household donations are arranged in advance. Estate-sized donations can be picked up. A free food pantry runs every Thursday, and people who qualify can get free clothing and household items. The low building has a teal metal facade, and the store is closed on Sundays.
