Open every day of the week, with evening hours on at least one of them, the Salvation Army's Alhambra thrift store serves both shoppers and donors. The sign above its door reads "Family Thrift Store" in red letters beside the organization's red shield, and Chinese lettering on the front window marks the shop as a Salvation Army donation collection point. Money from sales at this location supports the charity's adult rehabilitation programs.
