Run entirely by volunteers, this Placentia thrift shop sells clothing, housewares, books, collectibles, toys and seasonal goods, with new stock arriving every week. Framed art, prints and signs hang for sale on white lattice panels set against mint-green walls. The shop is open four days a week, Sundays included.
Donations are taken during the afternoons the shop is open, and tax receipts are available. New volunteers are welcome to join the team on flexible days. Since 2006, Charity's Closet has funded Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC) and raised awareness of homelessness in the area, and the proceeds from every purchase and donation go to that organization.
