Every purchase at Beacon House Thrift Shop in San Pedro supports men in recovery through The Beacon House, backing their journey to lasting sobriety and their workforce development. Most of the shop's team are graduates of that recovery program. Furniture, clothing and household goods fill the store, and select items are also sold online.
Donations can be dropped off during store hours, or a free pickup can be scheduled. A haul service removes items the shop cannot accept as donations. Members of the Valued Partner Program, a loyalty program, earn back a share of their purchases and get exclusive offers. The doors open seven days a week, with evening hours on at least one day, and a round blue-and-yellow lighthouse logo hangs above the front windows.
