Run by the Grant County Rescue Mission, ReNEWed Gas City sells clothing, footwear, housewares and more, and it's open five days a week. A deep purple wall spelling out "BOUTIQUE" in large letters stands behind the clothing racks, and sofas and chairs fill the rest of the sales floor.
The store takes donations of clean items in good working order. That includes clothing off hangers, outerwear, books, home decor, furniture, working appliances, sporting goods, bicycles, toys and power tools. It turns away mattresses, box springs, car seats, building materials and household chemicals. Sales support the Rescue Mission's ministries, which in 2024 served 62,000 meals, provided 19,200 nights of shelter and graduated 12 men from the Life Change recovery program.
