Open to the whole community, not just seniors, Edie's Boutique & Thrift is located inside the Muncie Delaware County Senior Center in Muncie, Indiana, and opens on Wednesdays and Fridays. Every dollar from its sales goes to the Senior Center, helping to fund its programs and keep it running.
Donations are welcome, with two exceptions: children's clothing and large furniture. Gifts to the store are tax-deductible to the full extent the law allows. The entrance is set into a bright yellow wall, with the store's name in red and white lettering on the glass door, and white-tiled display windows on either side hold coats and jackets on hangers. Racks of clothing line the sales floor beyond.
