Sales at the Trinity Life Ministry Lafayette Outlet Store support the work of Trinity Life Ministry. This Christian nonprofit, founded in 1985, runs a 12-month residential program for men 18 and older who are struggling with addiction. The program gives them housing, addiction education, life skills training, counseling and mentoring. The ministry is privately funded, and its thrift stores operate as a nonprofit that also serves the wider community.
The ministry depends on community support, which includes item donations to its stores, volunteer time and gifts of money. The Lafayette store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its long building has pink diagonal wood siding and a white sign with a bold red stripe running under the lettering.
